How to Get Outfit Vouchers in Monster Hunter Rise

At a glance

Earn regular Outfit Vouchers from eligible High Rank quests and Rampages, then use them with materials and money to forge base-game layered armor.

Where regular vouchers come from

Regular Outfit Vouchers are used for base-game layered armor. They are associated mainly with eligible High Rank quest rewards after the Hunter Rank cap is removed at HR8. Some HR7 content, including Serpent Goddess of Thunder, and High Rank Rampages also provide sources.

HR8 means Hunter Rank 8, not an 8★ Hub quest tier.

A repeatable approach

  1. Progress to HR8 and choose an available High Rank quest you are comfortable clearing, such as an eligible Elder Dragon hunt.
  2. Complete the quest and check its reward screen for Outfit Vouchers.
  3. If you prefer Rampages, choose an available High Rank Rampage instead.
  4. At the Smithy, inspect the layered armor piece you want and collect its required vouchers, materials and money.

Do not assume every HR8 quest has the same voucher rewards or promises a fixed number per clear. Choose content you can complete reliably and check the actual rewards.

Outfit Voucher versus Outfit Voucher+

Outfit Voucher+ is a separate item used for Sunbreak’s Master Rank layered armor. Regular Outfit Vouchers and Voucher+ are not interchangeable.
